It's not Jet lag--Our young alumni feel the Real effects of travel

Sources report endless dozing in preparation for over a week of fun while learning in Spain!

Picture
The research EF has conducted on its past travelers is jaw-dropping:
  • Over half maintain a college GPA between 3.5 and 4.0
  • 4 out of 5 continue to study language in college
  • 9 out of 10 report feeling more comfortable in unfamiliar social and cultural settings
While our program is young, watch the video clips below to hear from actual students on the impact educational travel made on them.

Traveling with EF? A success? It would appear so.

The impact on our alumni: Zully Valdez

Video first plays in Spanish, then English

An Overfelt graduate (class of 2008), Zully went on to study at Cal State University-East Bay, majoring in Spanish. Intrigued by the idea of studying abroad, Zully spent the Fall of 2013 in Madrid, studying at Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, and of course exploring Europe from this outpost. She is currently finishing up her Single Subject CA credential in Spanish, and dreams of returning to Overfelt as a Spanish teacher, and future Explorers mentor and tour leader!
