To receive an "A"

Use of Spanish: Student must engage Sr. Rowe and their classmates in Spanish, at all times, to the best of their ability. When the student does not know how to say a word, he or she circumlocutes, finds the word, or on occasion insert English, in an effort to keep the flow of conversation. 

To receive a "B"

Use of Spanish: Student engages Sr. Rowe in Spanish at all times, and their classmates on occasion, to the best of their ability. Great effort is made to find the right word, with great emphasis on maintaining the flow of conversation.

To receive  a "C"

Use of Spanish: Student occasionally engages Sr. Rowe in Spanish. He or she asks questions in Spanish.
